Mindfulness for Middle Schoolers
Tuesdays in July | 6:30–7:30 PM
Location: Flatwater Collective
Facilitator: Tracy Astorino
This 4-week in-person series introduces middle schoolers to mindfulness in a supportive, age-appropriate way. Adapted from our foundational Introduction to Mindfulness class for adults, this course empowers young people to build awareness, emotional regulation skills, and personal resilience through accessible practices.
Each 60-minute session includes interactive discussion, movement or breath-based activities, and guided mindfulness practices—all designed to meet the needs of tweens navigating school, friendships, and growing independence. It is our hope that parents and guardians will appreciate how these tools promote well-being both in and outside the home.
