FALL BOOK CIRCLE

🌿 Fall Book Circle 🌿

This fall, we invite you to join My Body is a Doorway, a book circle and community gathering led by our friend of Flatwater, Sara Peterson. Together, we’ll explore what it means to live in our bodies—through illness, healing, wellness, and the deep ways we are connected to the natural world.

  • Those curious about how our bodies mirror and belong to nature

Our intentions for this space:
✨ To create a supportive, caring, and inclusive community
✨ To offer a safe space for exploring health and wellness narratives
✨ To exchange stories, perspectives, and practices
✨ To embrace our humanness, connect with our bodies, and deepen our relationship with the natural world

More about Sara:

Sara stumbled onto mindfulness and meditation practice in the midst of a health crisis 3 years ago and it has changed the way she both sees her life and the world. Her mindfulness meditation practice along with time in nature have been critical parts to her continued health journey. As a preschool teacher for years, Sara loves learning and building community spaces in which all are seen, heard, and known.

In her free time you can find Sara reading, exploring her second home, Fontenelle Forest, writing, spending time with dear friends, and singing.
