Topic: Compassion (Karuṇā) – The Heart’s Response to Suffering
Compassion arises when loving-kindness meets suffering. We’ll practice opening to the pain of others (and our own) with a tender heart, learning to respond with care rather than overwhelm.
Teacher: Mark Wiesman
While designed as talks, participants are encouraged to participate in the form of questions and conversation so we can express ourselves, learn from each other and apply what we learn to our practice and daily lives.
All are welcome, those just beginning to learn about Buddhist practices, those from other Buddhist lineages, those just curious, and those with a long and mature practice.
Dana welcomed.
